Lipsos or Lipsi is situated 11 miles north of Leros. Lipsi, actually a group of islands, Lipsos being the largest and only island that is inhabited has a population of just 500 people. In the town of Lipsos visit the Nikiforon Ecclesiastical Folk Museum and the Madonna of Charos chapel with its miraculous icon. Lipsos is known for its beautiful beaches, Platy Gialos and Katsadia.
